This is the proper time for cutting of many trees and shrubs: after the winter – before sprouting: when the forsythia bloom. Also perennials that still carry the old leaves are now pruned. Roses, fruit trees and ornamental shrubs, but also hedges that are cut back before the shoot, drive from strong, beautiful bloom and bear more fruit. Attention: flowering shrubs however, may now not be cut in the spring – if you are not familiar with it, better ask the professionals in the nursery or your local garden center.
