- Remove Rose wildlings. They are recognizable by the lighter foliage and should be torn down at the base.

- Fertilize Peonies after bloom with organic or mineral fertilizers for more strengh next year.

- Cut Chives regularly about 2 finger widths above the ground - so that it drives fresh and tender shoots continuously .

- Dig Tulips after bloom, carefully loosen the daughter bulbs and store cool and dry until planting in the autumn.
